Envoy Mission Inc, a Texas nonprofit corporation (EIN 41-4924473) (“Envoy Mission,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or interact with our AI-powered platform.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect information in the following ways:

  • Seeker Conversations: Conversations with our AI envoys are stored to provide meaningful spiritual engagement and continuity across visits. These conversations can include religious or spiritual beliefs — a special category of personal data — so what we collect and how it is used is disclosed to seekers in an in-chat privacy notice. For ministries that host our chat widget on their own site, conversations from that widget are available to that ministry so they can follow up. We may also share conversations more broadly — with supporters and donors, and in materials describing our work (including fundraising and reaching prospective supporters) — but only after removing contact details and after an automated review that withholds any conversation that could identify an individual. Seekers may also choose to share their own conversation. Envoy Mission retains and owns these conversation records. Where we use conversations to improve our AI, we work with de-identified or aggregated data, and we never sell personal information.
  • Partner Information: When you sign up as a partner, we collect your organization name, contact information, location, and ministry details.
  • Donor Information: When you make a donation, we collect your name, email, and payment information. Payment processing is handled by third-party providers.
  • Website Analytics: We collect standard analytics data including page views, device type, and approximate location to improve our website experience.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To improve our AI models and conversation quality
  • To communicate with partners about connected seekers
  • To send updates about our mission and impact

4. Data Protection

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Ministries that host our chat widget can see the conversations that took place through their own widget, scoped to that ministry, so they can follow up with seekers. We never sell personal information. Beyond the hosting ministry, we may share de-identified conversation content — with contact details removed and after an automated check that withholds anything that could identify an individual — with supporters and donors and in materials describing our work; conversations a seeker has chosen to share may be used as given. Seekers may request access to or deletion of their information by contacting us at hello@envoymission.org.

5. Advertising Measurement (Meta)

Some of our ads run on Facebook and Instagram, which are operated by Meta. When you arrive on our website from one of those ads, Meta adds a click identifier to the link. We use it to tell Meta, through its Conversions API, which ads led to real outcomes, so that donor money is spent on ads that actually reach people. We send nothing to Meta about visitors who did not arrive from a Meta ad.

  • If you came to talk with us: we report neutral milestones about how far a conversation went, together with the click identifier and your browser's user agent. We never send what you wrote, your beliefs, your name, your email or your IP address, and the milestones are labelled generically. We report nothing for conversations from the countries we consider highest-risk, or for conversations on a partner ministry's website.
  • If you came to give: we report the donation and its amount, together with the click identifier, your email address and your account number in hashed form (SHA-256, so they cannot be read), which Meta uses to match the gift to the ad.

6. Cookies and Storage on Your Device

We use only essential cookies: to keep you signed in, to remember a referral link you followed, and to run our demo. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our page analytics are cookieless, using a temporary identifier that lasts only for your visit. Your browser also keeps, on your own device, how you first arrived at our site (for example, which campaign link you followed) and, in the chat, your conversation for 24 hours after your last message so you can come back to it; after that it is removed from your device. Clearing your browser's data for our site removes both.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Partners and donors can request data removal by contacting us at hello@envoymission.org.
